About the Role:
The Gaming Compliance Officer is a newly created role that focuses on ensuring the organisation meets all Gaming Compliance obligations. You will be assisting the Operations Manager to keep the organisation on track with its compliance and regulatory requirements.
This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role working closely with different teams to support strong AML/CTF, and Responsible Gambling Governance across the business.
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be guided by an enthusiastic and supportive mentor while contributing to a variety of compliance functions and responsibilities as they continue to grow.
About the Responsibilities:
You will support The Lithgow Workies compliance framework ensuring regulatory obligations, internal policies and risk management processes are met by:
· Identifying potential red flags in Transaction Monitoring
· Ensuring AML/CTF reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements are met
· Have a strong focus on due diligence and risk assessments
· Maintaining documentation and data assisting with audits, policy and procedure reviews, and providing administrative support as directed.
About You:
We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, good communication skills and a
willingness to learn and develop this role by:
Having 1-2 years of experience in gaming, regulatory or compliance-related role.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other document management systems
· Being approachable and comfortable interacting with staff and members
· Staying focused and ability to critically analyse data beyond numbers
· Including strong organisational, technological and time management skills
· Experience in the Gaming or Hospitality Industry is a plus or an understanding of financial crime regulatory requirements.
