Club Grants 2022

 

The Club Grants Program continues to support local community groups and helps make a difference in areas such as education, cultural integration, supporting people with disabilities and employment projects.

 

 

Lithgow Information and Neighbourhood Centre – Community Kitchen $4000.00

 

Solve – TAD Limited – The Joy of Cycling for Children with Disabilities $3000.00

 

Foster Care Angels Inc – Mental Health & Resilience Online Training & App $5000.00

 

Careflight – Raid Response Mission Funding $2000.00

 

Road Safety Education Limited - To provide young Lithgow drivers with our RYDA Safety Programs

 $2000.00

 

Royal Life Saving NSW – Preschool Water Safety Project $2150.00

 

Royal Life Saving NSW – Infants & Primary Water Safety Project $2150.00

 

Lithgow Community Projects – Trauma Informed Care Conference $2500.00

 

Lifeline Central West – Telephone Crisis Supporter Training $2500.00

 

Life Education NSW – Childrens Post Pamdemic Mental Wellbeing Recovery Initiative $3600.00

St Vincent De Paul – Helping the Needy $4000.00

 

CanAssist – Cancer Assistance Program $5000.00

 

Gorrie Ban – Registration & Insurance for Gorrie Ban Bus $2000.00

Lithgow View Club – TSF Learning for Life Students $1472.73 In-Kind

CATEGORY 1

Category 1 funding is specifically for local projects and/or services that contribute to the welfare and broader social fabric of the local community and are aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged communities.

Example:

  • purchasing kitchen equipment to produce food for isolated seniors living by themselves

  • purchasing a vehicle to help elderly and people with disabilities attend their hospital appointment

  • running a literacy and numeracy program for children with learning difficulties

Category 1 - financial support

Category 1 In-Kind - waived room hire, discount catering, non-financial support

 

CATEGORY 2

Category 2 funding are for projects that affect within an internal community like schools and grassroot sports. Please note that Lithgow Workies has a very limited pool of funding for Category 2 projects due to our commitment to our existing Sporting Sub-bodies.

Example:

  • purchasing any new equipment / infrastructure for schools

  • providing sponsorship for local community sports team

  • fundraiser to help a sick child / family in need

  • veterans welfare activities like RSL ANZAC Day activities

Category 2 - financial support

Category 2 In-Kind - waived room hire, discount catering, non-financial support

 

OUT OF SCOPE CATEGORY

This is for applications which do not fit into either of the above Categories or for requests which are not currently ClubGRANTS eligible.

HOW TO APPLY

1.       Register your profile on clubgrants.com.au

2.       Select the type of funding, please see above for category description.

3.       Fill in project name and amount requested. As you are applying directly to the Lithgow Workies please

disregard the LGA name. Make sure in ‘Club Name’, you’ve selected Lithgow and District Workmens Club Ltd. Click next. 

4.       The next page will bring up the application form. Complete this form and then click 'Submit' to finish. 

5.       The submitted project will now show up on your ‘My Applications’ dashboard. You can also save your application form without submitting it first if you need to leave and come back.

6.       Once you submit, your application will now appear on Lithgow Workies dashboard and will proceed from there. Please allow 6-8 weeks to hear a response depending on the type of funding applied for.
