FEEDBACK FROM CUSTOMERS
We were so impressed with the cleanliness, level of service and friendly staff members at the Workies in Lithgow when we stayed recently. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was large, very comfortable and clean. The staff had put the heater and lamps on for our arrival and we really appreciated those special touches. They are rare these days. We would definitely stay again.

This trip to Lithgow was with my parents and I knew The Workies would tick their boxes. Goodness, they can be fussyin their old age and I didn't hear a word of complaint...except that Dad's pillow was too soft!! Pfft! Ease of access to the club impressed them and the generous room size was evident with three of us in it. Staff gave us the room closest to the upstairs entrance to the club. Thanks so much for that consideration.

We stayed at the Workies Club Motel over the weekend as we were in town to attend a wedding nearby. The room was large, comfortable and most importantly, delightfully warm! It was great having a covered walkway between the motel and the club as it meant there was no need to venture outside in the cold weather for meals. We had the continental breakfast which was served in a nice room with a fire and a view to the courtyard below. The staff were all fantastic - very friendly and hospitable. I was very happy with our stay and would definitely return.

I stayed here on my way to Sydney, I got there late, around 9:30. I was treated with a smile, and was shown to my room. The motel is connected by a walkway to the club, so no need to catch a cab. I could still get a coffee and something to eat, had a couple of drinks, and was back in my room. The room was spacious, and very clean. In the morning, I went down for brekkie, and the lady serving breakfast was full of knowledge about Lithgow, and very friendly. I highly recommend this motel for its service and friendliness. There was also heaps of private parking at no extra charge.

Attending a wedding near Lithgow and it was suggested we book Lithgow Workies Club Hotel. We were not disappointed. Check-in was easy. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. And the rooms, large, warm & extremely comfortable. Linen was fresh and new. We were told that the bathroom fans were noisy, but that wasn’t a major problem. I would recommend staying if you have a function to attend in the area.

Extremely Clean and great facilities... 10/10
Positive: Extremely clean and great facilities. Staff were extremely helpful. I checked out with 2 small children and my luggage. When the Manager was walking past she offered her help and stayed with me to check out and then even walked with me and helped me to my car with the kids. I’ve never experienced such help and hospitality at any place I’ve every stayed. Thank you so much xx.

The rooms are huge & the staff could not be more helpful. From showing you to your room & pointing out the amenities to plating up a take away breakfast plate, the service is A+! $10 breakfast is generous & the coffee is delicious. Surprisingly one of the best features is the 'night light' under the bathroom vanity - So clever! Rooms are clean, well attended & definitely value for money.

Lithgow Workies Motel is probably the best motel in the district. It is very new and well located. The bed was very comfortable and the room well set up with a sofa, coffee table bedside cabinets and a desk. The bathroom is very good even if it is smallish. All of the fittings are good quality, and the towels are plentiful and soft. Security is good with key card required to enter the building. Plenty of free parking is available. Full breakfast can be had in the dining room for just $20.00. Great value for cereals, fruits, eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, hash browns, toast and coffee etc. Even a newspaper to read. The Workies club is attached to the motel and can be accessed without going outside. Great when it gets really cold in Lithgow.

Spacious, comfortable, well appointed wheelchair accessible, disabled access room. One of the best set out bathrooms we've seen. So many accessible bathrooms have few or no places to store things in the bathroom. Here there are plenty of hooks, rails, a shelf, and a small moveable trolley (great idea). Staff really pleasant and great to interact with.

Wonderful night in quaint Lithgow. Will be back. The Blast Furnace ruins were amazing and the view....awesome! Didn't try the restaurant at the club as there were so many great places in the vicinity. The shopping for homewares was a lot of fun!

Why only 4 stars?
This is possibly the nicest hotel I've stayed at. The overall experience was top-notch.The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, quick to book us in and showed us to our room. (So sorry I didn't get the lady's name, but she was really nice) That's NEVER happened before...anywhere...ever! The room was modern and tastefully furnished and decorated. It was SPOTLESSLY clean. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. I had the best sleep I've had for ages. We had access to Foxtel (Lifestyle binge watcher here), wi-fi ( no issues!) and air-con (not required due to perfect temp and windows that opened to allow a lovely breeze) We had dinner at the cafe and the food was excellent and well priced. The bar staff were super friendly and up for a chat when not busy. Even the cleaning lady asked us how our stay was the following morning, had a chat and wished us a nice day. We loved EVERYTHING about Lithgow Workies. When can we move in? Pros: Everything! Cons: Nothing. It was perfect. Location: We are considering moving to the area so were on a mission to familiarise ourselves with the town. We will be back to explore. Love Lithgow.
